Such compounds were prepared for that purpose and consequently screened for their cytotoxicity and several of these were found to be quite potent.61 63 Typical ID50 values of such compounds are given in Table 22.3.

The cytotoxicities of the tin compounds were, again, found to be comparable to those of doxorubicin and far superior to that of cisplatin.
