Recommended Method

At present the best method to measure (octanol/water-like) lipophilicity values by RPLC consists of:

• use of polymer-based (ODP) or end-capped (ABZ) stationary phase;

• methanol/water as mobile phase;

• zwitterionic buffer (MOPS);

• extrapolated polycratic (log /cw) capacity factors as lipophilicity index. Acknowledgements
