concentration is near zero, the acceptor-to-donor backflux is nil [see Eq. (7.26)]. So the UWL resistance on the acceptor side is of little consequence in the transport process. When strong binding takes place under the simulated sink condition, only the UWL on the donor side directly contributes to the overall resistance. Hence, Pu values are calculated to be about twice as large as in the case of no-sink iso-pH (Table 7.15).
